Our workshop is staffed with an accredited team of mechanics, who service and maintain all plant and equipment to the highest level, as well as a Mobile Service Unit to minimise plant and equipment downtime.
Non-Destructive Digging Trucks (Vac Trucks)
Our fleet of Non-Destructive Digging Trucks are used for dewatering and various other applications where traditional mechanical or hand excavation techniques are not suitable. This can be to positively identify existing services or to provide innovation in complex situations to provide safe and efficient solutions on site. Our NDD trucks are fitted with an array of nozzles to apply ensuring that no damage occurs to existing services. Further, we are able to control pressures and flows to enable a risk based approach to our NDD service.
Tracked Machinery and Heavy Equipment
Road and Rail has a huge fleet of excavators ranging from 2.5 ton to 35 ton machines. We have an array of buckets, attachments and optional tracks to ensure that we apply the right equipment to each select task for every project. Our operators are true experts, from greenfield excavation works to complex brownfield excavations around existing services or other high risk environments.
Cable Installation Equipment
Our huge selection of cable installation gear ranges from standard equipment to custom, state of the art equipment designed for complex urban works. In brief, we can offer the following equipment to ensure that cable installation works are successfully undertaken with the best equipment:
- Urban truck mounted winch systems (up to 50kN)
- Ground/skid mounted winches (up to 50kN)
- Assorted hauling ropes to highest of quality, checked before and after every cable installation
- Cable trailers
- A Frame cable stands up to 50 ton
- Hydraulic cable stands for variable applications
We have designed fully equipped trailers with complete sets of cable stockings, swivels, rollers and other cable installation apparatus to ensure that we are ready for any project challenge.
Heavy Vehicles and Haulage Trucks
Road and Rail Excavations are equipped to cart and dispose of excavated waste and are licenced for asbestos works. Our trucks are all well maintained and span the following applications:
