NSW Civil Contractors Federation Earth Award 2023
We are proud to announce that Road and Rail Excavations has been awarded the prestigious Earth Award for Excellence in Civil Construction by the NSW Civil Contractors Federation.
Our team submitted the recently completed 132kV conduit bank installation for the M6 Stage 1 project, and, after facing strong competition from civil contractors across NSW, we were honoured to be named the winners of the 2023 award.

Aircraft Donation to Little Wings
In November, our Road and Rail team had the privilege of witnessing a truly special moment: our Managing Director, Adrian, and his wife, Ciara, donated their aircraft to the incredible charity, Little Wings!
Founded in 2015, Little Wings Australia offers free flights and transport to seriously ill children in rural and regional NSW, ACT, and QLD. This generous donation will allow them to extend their reach and provide essential medical care to even more children in need.
It was a proud and heartwarming occasion for all of us as we celebrated this meaningful event at Bankstown Airport.
Road & Rail Excavations Acquires Ultegra
We are excited to announce that in June 2024, Road and Rail Excavations successfully acquired Ultegra, a leading utilities and infrastructure company specializing in the construction of assets for asset owners, government agencies, and private clients. Ultegra’s expertise includes the construction of substations, overhead lines, and programmed maintenance services.
With the addition of Ultegra’s skilled team, we look forward to the continued growth and development of our business while upholding the core values that define us.
We are proud to welcome the Ultegra team to the Road and Rail Excavations family and are excited about the collaborative opportunities ahead.
Stay tuned for upcoming projects!
